The southern extension of the Elmira Arterial included construction of a new composite steel bridge and excavating, grading and paving a new four-lane highway road section. Also included in the scope of this project were 5,000-sf of mechanically stabilized earth, 65,000-sf of concrete noise barrier and 5,000-lf of concrete median barrier.
